I wasn't sure about his ear (on our right), it didn't seem quite right. And I changed his lips just a little bit to open up more space there in the middle

Looking really nice.
I think Crazyharmke is correct, the trick to learning how to ink properly is just to do it over and over again till your brain just gets it.
