I don't know if anyone eltse was up at 7:am, but today's sunrise was the most mindblowingly surreal one I've ever seen! Hopefully some photographers took pictures of it for us all to look at sometime.

Human words don't really do it justice, but some of my first thoughts were that it looked like a cross between the "Songs in the key of life" album cover, something you'd see in a Flaming lips video, and a painting that a really imaginitive and talented artist would paint to make sunrises look more amazing that they usualy are. And I know I'm not the only one that thought that 'cause John (guitar player in Journey video) called me when I got home just to share the moment. we were both pretty speechless. aahhh
