Caricature

I learned from John K. (creator/director of Ren & Stimpy) that the basic primary fundamental of cartoons and animation is caricature. Seeing the funniness and the character in nature and exaggerating it in an appealing way. I've always wanted to get into caricaturing. so I figured I'd start with four of the funniest happiest guys of our time.

George has a great snaggletooth, and angular features


John has gopher teeth that are crooked ever so slightly, and of course a long straight nose. At least that's what I notice. (Though in the particular picture I was referencing here, his nose looked really bent.)


When George was younger he had huge adorable ears, and a great expression
