Bands that people are surprised I don't listen to much;

The Clash
The Doors
REM
Elliot Smith
The White Stripes
Joy Electric
Led Zeppelin

and David Bowie was on this, until Brielle's contact list inspired me to download a bunch of his songs. And I did listen to him a lot when I was a kid. Listening to "The man who sold the world" is really nostalgic for me 'cause it was my favourite song on Nirvana Unplugged, and in general. So D.Bowie's version is this strange, alternate universe retro/nowtro/different version of that. If that makes sense.

Please note: I do enjoy, understand and appreciate all these bands (particularly E.S. and L.Z.) I just, for one reason or another, haven't gotten around to investing into them. So please, no hate mail.
