Rock over London, rock on Chicago

If you look at the rock world like it's your life, and you are America, then:
Canada is like your goofy older brother (that is cool in his own way),
England is like your rich cousin that gets all the lucky breaks,
Australia is like the mean kids from the other side of town,
Sweden is like the Scandinavian foreign exchange student living in your attic -that is better at being American than you are,
Japan is like the misunderstood genius that pulls off something really amazing now and then,
France is like the artsy uncle whose amazing stuff rarely gets appreciated back home,
Iceland is like the strange house down the block that has weird lawn ornaments, but great cooking smells coming from it.

(by me, with a little help from my friends Jonathan, Wes, Ashley and Lindsey)
