My supervisor at work hit a deer last week, and today at our department meeting everyone was sharing their deer-hitting stories, whilst I sat quietly in the corner gazing at my shoes. After 15 minutes went by on this topic all I could think about was Tommy Boy, and I began to wonder, "Ok, there's about a half-a-dozen guys in here around my age and half-a-dozen women of various ages in here, somebody has to have seen Tommy Boy... why isn't anyone saying the big line???" so in a rare moment of public interjection I went ahead and said, "Sorry about your car man, but that was... awesooome!" And then proceeded to bask in the uprorious laughter!
