I went up to Portland to see Cabinessence with my friends Jonathan and Jen, and the opening band Vatara totally blew the roof off the place. It was warp factor 9 part 2. The looked and sounded exactly like them, it was so funny and awesome. The drummer looked and played exacltly like Jonathan, we went up to him and talked to him after the show and called him his doppleganger. I called him his mini-me, but nobody laughed... They were so nice and so cool. I just love it when an amazing band like that comes out of nowhere and just renews your faith in great local music!
