I think the poses are a bit to stiff. Try to let it flow more. Use a good action line. Do you make rough doodles? That helps me. Im using thin cheap paper from a school note book with a simple ball pen, it really helps me being more loose.

Your great at backgounds technique, do you use photoshop for that?

thanks. Some of the backgrounds are done in Photoshop but most of them are done with traditional paint

I agree with Mitch L. The drawings need to flow a teeny bit more. I do love the BGs, though.
